In a response to a documented epidemic of loneliness, self-doubt, and drift, Dr. Klein, has opened an APPA-certified practice to free clients from the trap of unexamined stories they tell themselves as well as the burden of difficult emotions in order to advocate for their transition. Its scope of practice is threefold: an inquisitive encounter for co-creation between counselor and client; a dialogical encounter for transformative, applied-philosophical alternatives; and a spiritual encounter for surprising, transcendent disclosure. As an enterprise dedicated to the search for renewed meaning and purpose, sessions refocus attention from fault-finding to self-discovery, from the mere prose of everyday life to values and virtues that prize the poetry of forgiveness, imagination, vitality, and being with others in the world.
